English is the first language in Singapore and also the language medium for teaching in schools. As such, it is paramount for your child to read, speak and write well in English.

At Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan (SHHK) Cultural Academy, we help children develop key skills in literacy through phonics (awareness of sounds and their relationship with letters), building vocabulary and mastering comprehension, public speaking and writing.
