The Lab Singapore is the first education lab in Singapore to use predictive data analytics and educational psychology to develop a customized Coding curriculum for students aged 7 and above. Join us at Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan Cultural Academy and learn more about coding & robotics!
This programme is delivered in collaboration with The Lab, a multi-award winning school empowering students with the computational thinking knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the future economy. The school promotes learning through play, making learning fun and easy for students ages 5 and above.
Core Programs
The Lab
Junior Lite
The curriculum integrates Computational Thinking (Programming) and Engineering Design Process (Building). It promotes the application of Math and Science, which are foundations to being a good programmer. We also use LEGO EV3 robots to engage students into robotics.
The curriculum is built upon the MOE Primary 4 Math and Science syllabus, hence providing a sneak preview of your child’s Primary 4 learning journey in a fun and interactive way.
The Lab Coder Game Design
The curriculum is about game design and development. At the end of this course, your child will achieve a high competency in Computational Thinking and create games proficiently using the Tynker platform (i.e. a drag-and drop platform similar to Scratch).
The program is suited for beginners aged 10-12 or students who have graduated from The Lab Junior program.
